You're smack in the middle of one of the Low flying Areas too I think. <br />We were on the beach at Luskentyre on the Isle of Harris a couple of years back and got buzzed by (I think) a Tornado - they clearly liked the look of the fantastic beach as they flew a huge loop and came back for another look! This little bit of countryside seems to get used for a lot of tactical flight training. The farm animals have got quite blase about them flying past, except for the horses, but it can be really loud and rattle the cottage. The past couple of weeks we got buzzed a lot during darkness hours which was something different.
