Happy New Year to you too!<br />The worktop to window thing - SO simple and yet not anything that would have occurred to us as an option until it was suggested, yet it makes SUCH a difference! (And yes I used to have to de exactly what you describe!) The larder was one of the main reasons we bought the flat in the first place - we love it!
