I’m endlessly fascinated by the interaction of the light with the metal - it somehow never looks the same from one visit to the next, the but golden late afternoon light is hard to beat. Another curious thing about the sculpture is that even on a hot summer day it still feels cool to the touch.
Visits to Aldeburgh then to follow a fairly traditional pattern - they usually happen after a visit to RSPB Minsmere, and generally include a bit of a walk, followed by fish & chips. If we are there in time then there might be an ice cream too!
