I love these abandoned Croft houses as you know - almost always they have been left to fall derelict because a newer, more modern house has been built for the family to live in, and without decrofting the plot it stands on the original property can’t remain occupied. This one is on the Croft at the Balranald RSPB reserve and is now home to a large number of Starlings - which seems quite appropriate!
The yellow lichen on the roof is what makes this one stand out to me - and yesterday’s deep blue sky sets it off perfectly don’t you think?
